‼PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT‼
On Tuesday, July 15 at 8:00 AM, the Hobbs Police Department & City of Hobbs Fire Department, in coordination with Hobbs Municipal Schools, Our Lea County, Lea County Sheriff’s Office, New Mexico State Police, Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital, Native Air 29, and AeroCare 9 -  Hobbs, NM, will conduct an Active Threat Training Drill at Highland Middle School - 2500 N. Jefferson.

📍 Please be advised:

- Streets surrounding Highland Middle School will be temporarily closed.
- A large emergency response presence will be visible in the area.
- A helicopter landing drill will occur near Coronado Elementary School.

‼This is only a drill. No immediate threat exists. The training is part of our continued efforts to enhance community safety and emergency preparedness.
